What the check means
What we verify
A live person completed the check and the same face was not already accepted in this poll.
What we do not verify
Legal identity, eligibility, age, or how many votes someone is entitled to.
How it works
Create the poll and choose the verification level.
Share one link with participants.
Each response is checked for repeat participation before it counts.
Contest voting FAQ
Q.01Does the voter need an account?
No. Participants open the shared link and complete the check in their browser.
Q.02What does face liveness do?
It is a short, probabilistic camera check in the browser that looks for a live person and compares the face with earlier accepted responses in that poll.
Q.03Will some people drop off?
Yes. A camera step adds friction, so use it where fairness matters more than maximum response volume.
Q.04What does it cost?
Verified packages start at €29 per poll for up to 100 verified responses. Polls using only device checks are free.
Q.05Where is biometric data processed?
Face processing runs in AWS Europe (Ireland). Matching uses a face embedding rather than an ID document, and data is deleted according to the retention policy.
