Do you store facial images?

No. We never store facial images. AWS Rekognition stores only mathematical face embeddings (not reversible to images) for duplicate vote detection. These embeddings are permanently deleted when you delete your VoteByFace account.

We support three methods: Device fingerprinting (free), facial verification, and enhanced face + liveness detection. You choose the level of security appropriate for your poll.

How do you prevent bots and fake votes?

Device fingerprinting detects browser automation and suspicious patterns. Facial verification ensures a unique human face. Liveness detection confirms a real person is present, not a photo or video.

Is my vote anonymous?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While we verify your identity to prevent duplicate votes, your actual vote choice is stored separately and cannot be linked back to you. Poll creators only see aggregate results.
