01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using VoteByFace, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

02Description of Service

VoteByFace is a secure polling platform that uses facial recognition technology to ensure one vote per person.

Our service includes poll creation, facial verification, real-time results, and billing management for premium features.

03User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account.

You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

04Billing and Payments

Premium verification uses one-time response packages purchased for an individual poll. The package price and response cap are shown before payment.

Packages are paid through Stripe when you are ready to publish; no card is required to create a poll. Polls created before this package model may still be billed monthly per verified response.

Responses already used are not refundable, but we will work with you to resolve any billing disputes.

05Facial Verification

Face verification runs only after the participant has read the notice on the verification screen and chosen to proceed. Anyone may decline; they then cannot take part in a poll that requires it.

While our system is highly accurate, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in all circumstances.

The verification capture is stored in our EU region. AWS Rekognition holds a mathematical face embedding for duplicate detection. It cannot be turned back into an image and is not tied to your account.

06Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service for:

• Any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Creating polls with harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Spamming or sending unsolicited communications
• Attempting to manipulate or circumvent our security measures

07Limitation of Liability

VoteByFace is provided 'as is' without any warranties, expressed or implied.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

08Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

09Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
