01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using VoteByFace, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

02Description of Service

VoteByFace is a secure polling platform that uses facial recognition technology to ensure one vote per person.

Our service includes poll creation, facial verification, real-time results, and billing management for premium features.

03User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account.

You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

04Billing and Payments

Our service operates on a pay-per-vote model: €0.025 per vote for face verification, or €0.035 per vote for face + voice verification.

Payments are processed daily through Stripe. You must provide valid payment information to use premium features.

Refunds are not available for votes already cast, but we will work with you to resolve any billing disputes.

05Facial Verification

By using our service, you consent to facial recognition processing for vote verification purposes.

While our system is highly accurate, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in all circumstances.

Facial images are processed in real-time and never stored. AWS Rekognition stores mathematical face embeddings for duplicate detection, which are permanently deleted when you delete your account.

06Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service for:

  • Any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Creating polls with harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Spamming or sending unsolicited communications
  • Attempting to manipulate or circumvent our security measures

07Limitation of Liability

VoteByFace is provided 'as is' without any warranties, expressed or implied.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

08Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

09Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
